what canon lens would you recommend for a beginner other than a 50mm f/1.8?
under 300 dollars:
35mm f2 - prime/wide angle lens
28mm f2.8
28-105mm - standard zoom
18-55mm - standard zoom
all are relatively cheap. the prime lenses are fast and it forces you to move around. The zooms are just good for multi purpose but they’re not really great in low lighting. However, if you don’t mind shooting at high ISOs then it’s pretty decent since the autofocus is pretty silent and fast.

Real talk though, it’s so incredibly irritating how I had things planned or I’m just waiting in anticipation then I find out the person is cancelling. I mean of course there are exceptions but it’s just so annoying how people have the audacity to waste other’s time. It’s even worse when the person doesn’t even have the courtesy to even notify me that they won’t arrive. Time is money. I could’ve replaced the time I spent on you for someone who’s WORTH MY TIME.

Studied and then met up with APBANG at Valley Fair after I studied at the library all day. Then I went home and met up with everyone at Yogurtland. I had to jet afterwards -.- finals week sucked
We haven’t been altogether since summer. For some reason it feels like it’s summer when I’m with them. The way we pick each other up or drop each other off.. the places we go.. it’s like dejavu. Too bad that they came back when I had finals. That day they went to all the McDonalds and picked up the HK watches.
I dressed janky because I didn’t think I would see anyone that day. I also realized that I needed a haircut after these pictures. I found out today that my mom liked my haircut too! :]

Every one of us is blessed with some sort of talent or skill.. something that someone can rely solely you for. Whether it be artistically through words or painting, or maybe through cooking and baking, or maybe simply by being nice. The thing about being relied to do a certain task is that there’s this level of expectation arises. Then our so called talent and skill becomes a burden. Conversations die down to reach to a point of a favor. Friendships gets redefined. Selfishness and selflessness is magnified.
Doesn’t that just suck.
