yeah go for it. get a 50mm lens and you’re good to go. I really really hated the 18-55mm because I felt so constricted, but that’s just me.

your battle recap was great and all, but in all honesty, its kind of condescending of you to talk about juniors like that. you hate them that much? first theyre not “original” (who is?) then sophomores are better, than their performance puts you to sleep?

well I don’t know who you are, but perhaps you are bias towards your class (assuming that you’re a junior) but perhaps I’m bias too. although that doesn’t change the fact the the juniors skit was just skit and just really.. boring. I thought the soph’s were really neat with their costumes, decorations, shirt design, and the skit was pretty decent. then the junior’s shirt was plain, skit was top to bottom from warriors, decorations were just like 09’s assassins (but of course no one would remember except us seniors).

2nd part of the junior question, its okay though, you do you.

read the manual! it helps a lot and what I like to do is grab those photography magazines in barnes and nobles. it tells you some tricks and stuff about how to edit pictures and changing your camera settings.

ahah hmm I don’t really favor either.. but I guess a hippo is more rare than a llama. llamas are in the petting zoo all the time.

here’s the back of our shirt. I helped design it. I was in there with Justin for 3 hours with the graphic designer trying to get the final design. I think it turned out pretty nice :] there’s about 40 more ppl who want to buy the shirt since it got sold out.

during lunch, the last 5 tickets of BOTC were being auctioned off. the original price was 10 w/ ASB and 12 without. the tickets were going for 25-35! HOLY MOLY. Quach was trying to buy a ticket for his mom.

afterschool we had 1.5 hrs left of decorating. Carolyn rushed home to get all the stuff that people made the night before.. or should I say morning. people were at Carolyn’s house until 3 or 5. They practically had an all nighter.

their Big Ben tower was HUGE. we had to top it so we finished the Darth Vadar and it ended up being a ft or 2 taller.

Juniors smh. they so copied 09’s Assassin decorations. psh, and they said we weren’t original. suck it.

SENIORS:

our class is known to be well rounded. We are what makes up the sports, band, drama, robotics, clubs, etc. we run our school. all the seniors in band came together to play Star War songs for the judges and for the actual Battle performance.

we made about 70 of the clones. yeah.. 70 .. our goal was 100 but we got lazy xD

Duy and Connie worked on this the night/morning before.

here’s Anakin. he looks like him right? well Brandon Barnes was on crutches for 2 days but during the performance he made seem like he was completely fine. he got injured during the rehersal on wednesday. no one knew the (fighting)choreography or lines besides Curtis but he was too short. Anyways, I give mad props to him. He didn’t show up until the hour before Battle started and he was ready to go. He’s STILL on crutches today.

my sister, Meryssa was in Battle too. She’s a freshmen and I knew she was dancing but shoot.. no one told me should can DANCE. all of my friends were mindblowned - including me.

the freshmen skit was so cute and epic. I still can’t believe they got 3rd o.o

soph’s were pretty good too. I feel so sorry for them though. they didn’t deserve 4th :[ I think everyone was shocked.

I don’t have pics of the Juniors because I was slowly falling asleep while watching there’s. freals - it was that boring. it was skiiiitttt, short dance, skiiiiiiiiiiiiit then finale. like wtf?

SENIORS! dang LIA! work that outfit. I think she was the talk of the week because she pulled that outfit so well.

Carolyn, wow.. no more going to you house and talking about decorations, messing around with paint, tracing in the cold with the overhead and the garage, no more no more.

ahaha David, this was while all the soph officers were crying. :[ they still couldn’t believe they got last. they totally don’t deserve it. I thought Battle was their redemption since they lost against the Juniors during homecoming. even then everyone thought the soph’s were better.

yaaawpps :] afterwards we cleaned up and looked for Reyna’s lost car keys.

then Nishadh took Tee, Daph, and I to Denny’s along with all the other seniors.

Often times we reach to the point where we are expected to be open to our feelings or we expect the other person to be open with their feelings. Both persons have landed at a peak where an exchange of thoughts and emotions should not be filled with hesitations. Although one might argue that the other person is on the higher ground and therefore is climbing the mountain a little too fast. Sometimes things are just better left unsaid. What is not revealed brings surprise into the entire situation. Even glass doors have a secret. Although it is transparent, there is something there.

I have this pet peeve when it comes to artificial nature scents or more specifically water related scents. I mean if you were to ask most people of what their favorite scent would be it would be the rain or the ocean. Hey, it’s not my favorite but it’s up there with my favorable scents. However unlike fruit scents, there’s no definite smell of rain. It just smells like - rain.  Whenever I see a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, or lotion I kind of cringe that it’s “Rain” or ” Ocean’s Mist” because although the blue hue is calming and serene the scent is nothing near relaxing. Companies totally butcher the scent by making it so sharp and strong. Oh wells, at least its not Axe and being sprayed profusely.

sorry for the late response xD my shutter was 1/50, fstop 5.6, and iso 1600. I cross screened on the camera. when i’m less spontaneous I manually do everything on my camera: fstop, shutter, iso, and white balance so I don’t edit those pictures. generally I just change my shutter or my fstop. whenever I edit it’s because my friends shot it so they don’t have it in the right exposure or I crop. when I edit things I just sharpen it or I try to give it a lomo(colorful) feel.

*sigh* ahah. I think what I notice first in a person are their eyes and their smile. I mean they should be appealing to my eyes. then they get more attractive if they’re driven and has ambition. Someone who doesn’t get butthurt at my sarcastic jokes. Shoot if you can’t take my sarcasm then yeah sorry I’m not going to change. Someone who is insightful and challenges me but respects my opinions and thoughts. yeah idk
