- Tee: I don't like that cutting stuff stage
- Katherine: yeah.. no shirts into tanks but jeans into shorts is fine
- Tee: OH but I did like the tights stage
- Katherine: OOO YEAH ME TOO
- Me: ...
- Katherine: hey, we're just telling you the truth
- Tee: yeah, we're your friends
- Me: ...
They say that you should sit down because they think you can’t handle the truth. Nevertheless it’s coming and despite the momentum, despite the fore-warnings, despite how prepared you are, the storm will come and wipe everything away leaving all the things you love look like trash. It’s like the stupid character that wakes up from the middle of a nightmare walking through the same dark corridors in his dream. After he checks that the disfigured body isn’t sitting in the same eerie room, he splashes water in his face and then looks at his reflection. Now we know that what we are watching is a “Horror” or “Scary” movie and that sooner or later something ugly will pop up, but even if we are in a room with alive, breathing people, even if we’re huddled together with pillows near our faces to block out the sight, even if stereotypically whenever there’s a scene with a mirror there will be monstrous reflection- we still scream.
